I am going to sub half & half for milk, should I reduce the sugar call for?

I plan on making a dish and substituting half & half for milk, should I reduce the called for sugar amount?

Half & Half will make the dish richer, but I’m not sure that it will make it terribly sweeter. It may depend on what type of dish you’re making and how sweet you think it should be.

I can’t think of any situation where subbing half & half for milk would call for a sugar adjustment.

No – half and half is richer but not sweeter.
