Companies that invest my money and pay profit?

I dont know any thing about stock & investment. However, I have few thousands of Euros, and searching for RELIABLE companies that get my money, invest that (in any suitable area, whether in or out of stockmarket), and pay me profit annually. By so, I want to reduce risk of investment. Now, which types of companies shall I look for? e.g. private equity companies or what?

Apple pays a dividend. BlackBerry you can buy cheap. Tech stocks are good. Big pharmacy companies are high risk high gain from all the mergers.

@dexoey I don’t know which region or country you live in, that makes a difference. In my country there are banks and agents that charge for advice (USA).
