Is this moderately safe?

My wisdom tooth is starting to kill me. I have an appointment scheduled to have it removed, but it’s not until March 9th. I called today to see if there were any cancellations to see if I could have it out sooner, but there haven’t been any.

One of my FB buds told me to search YouTube for this because he said he knows people that swear by it. I know there are risks like he mentions in the video, but is it so risky that it’s a flatout stupid idea? I’m getting a bit desperate since the pain is constant now.
