Need to know a metal band name?

Asked by joeytain (18points) June 25th, 2016

used a sample from the movie ravenous

“If you die first, I am definitely going to eat you, but the question is, if I die, what are you going to do? Bon appétit… Eat or die.”

i cannot for the life of me remember the band or the song name, however i believe the band name started with an O.

i need to know the band name not movie name. I already stated the movie name in this post. Im very aware of the movie in which the sample originates. Im trying to find the band that used this sample in one of their songs. Again i believe the metal bands name started with the letter O.

Wikipedia says the song is “Cannibal Fantasy” by the band Nyman

I’ve never heard of them.

OK, I see what’s happening here:

You heard a song, and like many death metal bands they put a sample from what they thought was an obscure horror film at the beginning of a song.

My husband’s band did that early in their career, too. Of course, they used actually obscure films, not late-90s mainstream releases, but whatever.

There’s literally no way to look up what bands illegally borrowed sound clips of Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle talking.

I could link you to Encyclopedia Metallum’s section for the letter O. That’s about as close as I can get you.

I can also assure you it’s not Opeth, Overkill, or Obituary.

Other than that, you’re on your own.

Aye ive been searching for quite awhile literally reading song after song after song. Its none of those nor is it okera or otep. Just frustrating as there is a reddit user who has the exact same problem i do. I dont need links to search just if someone happens to find the name or read this and know the band thatd be swell. Appreciate the effort tho.
