How often do you think those 18 wheel tractor trailers bang into waiting cars when they're turning left at an intersection in town?

We get a lot of truck traffic. When I see one sitting in the intersection that I’m approaching and I know he’s going to turn left, I stop well before the intersection, further back than I normally would. If I were to stop where I normally would he’d crunch up my car, and I have a feeling he wouldn’t stop, or even care!

I wonder if it happens a lot. I wonder if it’s up to us normal people to take care of our selves.
