How can I promote a local-pickup item I'm selling on Craigslist?

I’m trying to sell a HON filing cabinet on craigslist.

It’s in great condition. The thing is it weighs a lot, so I can also sell it as local pickup. No way am I shipping that thing.

Does anyone have any tips for promoting an item like this to my local community?

I live in Queens in NYC.

There are approximately eleventy bazillion “yard sale” groups on facebook.. Join a few of those local to you and share your CL post.. Someone will hit you up..

Yes of course you can. But how can I promote the item? Are there any blogs and websites where I can let folks know that this item is up for sale? E.g. local blogs/sites that in some way or fashion deal with office furniture.

@MarcoDemarco I would assume that people looking for such an item will find it on Craigslist.
