2: Register a free account on YouTube.
3. Record a video with your webcam.
4: Upload video to YouTube.

Ok, that’s not very explanatory.

Companies pay money to advertise on YouTube. The money generated from these ads makes a profit for the site. These revenues are shared with content providers. Sorta like television and radio.

It involves signing up for a Google Adwords account which is a little hairy. I think I’ve done it wrong because I have one video with over 300,000 views and haven’t seen a dime. Whatever.
