Has anyone here ever been to Nova Scotia?

We’re visiting family in Maine during the summer, and I’m considering a little trip farther afterwards, to Nova Scotia, just for a few days.

Has anyone here ever been to Nova Scotia? If so, do you have any advice, tips, ideas, thoughts, inspiration?
