How do I create a special video graphic in Adobe Photoshop or Premiere CS4?

Asked by aprilsimnel (30749points) July 29th, 2009

I want to create a video effect as at the end of late night commercials with a small box in the top left corner of the product in action and the rest of the screen with the price, the phone number, the address to send your payment, etc. An example of what I’m going for is here at 2:56.

I am on Windows XP Pro and I’ll be using part of the Adobe CS4 suite. If I can create this effect in Premiere alone, that’d be awesome, but if I have to do it in Photoshop and then import it, that’s fine as well.

Can anyone direct me to a tutorial on this? My Google-fu is not yet strong enough to search for such a tutorial properly. Thanks.

Just create a second layer in the production and place your video inside of it and resize it as appropriate. I can go more in depth if you need, but this should help you along at the very least. Do you know how to add a new layer?
