You asked about drugs so I’ll talk about drugs. I don’t think “sleeping well and getting exercise” is the answer you’re looking for. I don’t want to discredit the value of good food, good sleep, exercise, etc. but I believe in the value of chemicals.
This is what I would do:
I would turn to Adderall and Ritalin (or any of their derivatives) first. If I was smart, I would do extensive research on this type of medication (read the sites that speak against it AND speak for it, and take the time to find a good, raw, discussion on this or another forum about it). If you are going to solve this problem with a drug, this is your best bet. If after educating yourself you disagree with this option, then don’t continue. Start eating salads.
If what you find perks your interest (as I hope it does) I wouldn’t turn to your doctor first, I would turn to the probably hundreds of kids in your community who are already prescribed these drugs (for information, of course). I don’t want to condone less than questionably legal drug exchanges, but get the hint. Then I would take the pill, and see how I feel. All I can give you is my experience and perspective, and I have had great success getting out of bad ruts, overcoming writer’s block, defeating the procrastination monster, and all other sorts of baddies of procrastination and lack of motivation with the help of this drug (I am partial to Adderall.)
There is nothing inspirational about a mountain beyond what you make of it. I could find the same glorious beauty in my trash can (and I do). What works for one person usually doesn’t work for another. This, however, works for me. It works for a lot of other people (as does exercise and diet and all that noise). This one just happens to have a high success rate endorsed by science.
tl;dr – Google search Adderall
