Ah but all your dreams cant come true, because if you did get everything you were dreaming about you would become complacent and start wishing/dreaming of something new. And once you did you wouldnt have everything you dreamed for.
@RealEyesRealizeRealLies Such a vague question. You should of put more thought in it for the type of answers you’re appartently looking for. Otherwise I guess you could debate with any answer if you so do please.
Thanks for recommending to me what I “should” do @Deja_vu. Your insight is valued and much appreciated. Though I must confess, I’m impressed with your uncanny clairvoyance.
Please tell me… what type of answers am I looking for?
How is my asking a question about your answer considered a “debate”? You’ve made it clear that some dreams are worthy and other are not. That’s cool… I simply wish for you to explain to me who/why/how such designations are determined.
@Inked_up_chic I’m not trying to be jerky… really… but I know it seems like it… sorry.
Well, does your reality judge what is real and realistic for me, whilst my reality judges what is real and realistic for you? Or are we capable of determining what is real and realistic for ourselves?
Robert Anton Wilson calls this phenomenon “The Reality Tunnel”… supposedly, we each have our own individual reality tunnel, and it is the mother of all dogma.
@RealEyesRealizeRealLies I think that we all decide for our selves what is real, realistic and reality. Its one of the greater gifts we have, to think for our selves, choose our own paths and decide what ever we decide to decide apon…
Human beings will never be satisfied, we will always want something more or something different. What we dream for depends on our circumstances, but we will always have dreams.
Dreams are very interesting and can be interpreted very differently by everyone. When you learn to control your dreams you can use them for your own benefit and learn from them. Dreams are your sub-conscience’s reality and are for your inner self to regenerate itself and for your body to recover for the next day.
It depends on what you mean by “dreams”. If you mean the dreams I have at night, I wouldn’t want them all to come true since some of them are really weird and out there. If you meant all of my dreams as in the things I wish and hope for in life. I’m sure if all of my current dreams came true, I would think of more. I try to work on my dreams though, but I only focus on 1 or 2 at a time. If they all suddenly came true, I’d enjoy them and then think of other ways to make our life even better than it already is (such as vacations as a family and stuff like that).
The trick in life is to not be constantly pursuing ‘more’, but to simply enjoy your beingness, aliveness and what you already have, accomplished, without the endless chasing for more, bigger, better, etc.
Be here now!
How many people put off living life until this, that, or the other thing has happened.
One of the most unhealthy traits of this ‘modern’ society.
“One man scorned and covered with scars still strove with his last ounce of courage to reach the unreachable stars; and the world was better for this.” Cervantes, by way of Don Quixote”
heres a oppion for the swimming pool, could dreams be a part of our thoughts, feelings, hopes, and “dreams”, we dont even realize are there? something we take forgranted.
