Snow!

The liquid sunshine, the powdered sunshine….give me sunshine all day long!

Snow.

Rain – as long as it is in moderation. Graupel is pretty cool though; Barbie-sized hail. It’s also fun to say. I think I’ll make it my curse word.

I love being indoors when the rain is coming down really hard and bouncing off the pavement! I love to watch it bounce and the noise it makes.

I have never had the pleasure to bask in the glory of snow, so rain is my precipitation of choice.

@Pied_Pfeffer Our hail tends me be rather small and gravelly, but a friend of mine had his car absolutely destroyed by a hail storm. His windshield completely shattered. It was kind of funny, but I managed to keep from laughing. I’m sure he thinks I’m a spoiled Californian after a reaction like that.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Summer Rain. I love being able to go to the beach while it’s raining; it’s a very surreal experience.

Hail. The bigger the better.

Rain on a warm day, snow on any kind of day. Rain on a cold day sucks.

That which happens when I’m asleep in bed, and stops when I wake up.

I’m a snow baby. I’ve always loved the stuff. I’m usually the only person smiling while out shoveling. Thunder snow is pretty amazing too.

There’s snow business like snow busi…..well, you get my drift!

I don’t know what it is called. I have only seen it once in St. Paul Minnesota. It was a crisp clear morning and the temperature was about 30º below zero F (-34 ºC). There was what looked like snow crystals forming about 10 to 12 feet above the ground and slowly falling down. The sun wasn’t up far, but it was plenty bright to actually see the crystals form and grow as they fell. The sky was bright blue and clear, not a cloud in sight anywhere. It was truly beautiful to watch, and went on long enough to leave a very thin coating of what looked like snow on the plowed surfaces of the parking lot where I was working at them time.

If anyone knows what that meteorological phenomenon is called, please enlighten me.

Any type whatsoever since it is practically non-existent most of the time in Phoenix, Arizona. We’ll take whatever we can get whenever we can get it.

Snow… but only when I don’t have to go out in it!! Love to watch it from my window.
My dogs have the snow vote also, but they love romping around in it.

Snowflakes on my face. But since it never snows in Austinladland, I happily settle for raindrops on my face.

I use to love rain and snow, but then I went to West Point.

I like when it rains at night and then the sun shines all day.
