It depends on what kind of mood I’m in. Perhaps some jazz. Perhaps classical.

Classical music, but not the slow stuff

Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue or Dave Brubeck’s Take 5 would mellow me right out.

I’ll second @janbb‘s Miles Davis suggestion, but I’d probably choose “Live at the Black Hawk Lounge”. Some Modern Jazz Quartet might be nice.

OTOH, It’s kind of hard to beat some Mozart or Vivaldi with a good glass of wine.

Gregorian Chants are also a nice relaxing listen just before bed.

Well wine makes me want to dance so I generally listen to it with funk or disco, mostly Earth Wind and Fire.

I’m always up for some great jazz, but I would also enjoy joining @YoBob for some of that Gregorian Chants.

I enjoy my [typically cheap] wine with anything that’s difficult to categorize into one genre. Massive Attack, Bonobo, Menomena, Citizen Cope just to name a few of my favorites to drink wine to.

I love listening to country pop. It is relaxing and soothing to the soul. Music video production company has shown me the way to appreciation.
