“Great Question” (4points)

So I saw this movie called Hoboken Hollow and it’s supposed to be based on real events.
No doubt the movie is nothing like whatever inspired it, but I’m interested to know what the true source is, as I always am with every horror flick that says it’s based on true events.
Problem is, this movie doesn’t even have a Wiki entry…all my searching yields nothing, and no matter how detailed I make my searches, I just get reviews and advertisement and all.
Can anyone help me find something about the real story behind this flick?

It could be based on Mountain Home, TX

It mentions a cattle prod and some guy named Jr, which were prominent elements in the movie. Thank you. :) I’m pretty sure that’s it.

The closest case I can think of is that of Ray and Fay Copeland….husband and wife farmers who murdered a number of drifters who worked for them. Although nothing in their story even remotely matches the above movie other than the fact they were farmers and the victims were drifters.

This is based on the Mountain Home Texas Ranch and the Walter Ellebracht family . There was Walter “Wes” Sr. , Wes Jr.,Joyce Ellebracht and a ranch hand who helped . The living family is still around. Barely did any prison time. Sr. and Joyce did none.

I was there when they killed Andy Bates

@mooneymike So you can prove they did it. So far as I can tell, they never found the body therefore no proof of this murder has been found.
