“Great Question” (1points)

I need not a translator… but a “Translitterator”.. so I can copy/paste texts in languages that do not use Latin fonts.
Or even, better.. is there a software I could download for this same purpose?
(fro instance, I want to write a message in Greek to a friend of mine..since I know how to write in Greek all I need is a means to replace the “O” with the “Omega” font.

@marinelife I dont think @jlelandg was saying to ask Google but rather why not use Google translate…

Anyways @Anatelostaxus I checked out Google Translate and found that it does do what you want for English to greek

@marinelife…if forgive you. I was really asking a sincere question. I wasn’t sure what the difference between what @Anatelostaxus was saying and google translate.

Welcoem to the NFL!

@jlelandg Hangs head. It is deserved. But if I’m in the NFL now, can I go to the Superbowl?

I could have been more clear with the question. I’ve been tempted to tell people to freaking google before, but have resisted the urge.

I am sincerely amused @jlelandg @marinelife that was random.
Ok, well.. @mrlaconic Thank you for checking that out for me..
I will warn you of one thing though (to anyone whom it may interest) I do have knowledge of several languages and in comparing the translation with actual meanings and structures desired.. our dear mr. google does falter. Quite often too.
For instance if I want to translate from ENG to GRE= how are you doing, friend? = Τι κάνεις, φίλε; (which is roughly correct.. BUT! try copy/pasting the Greek Translation and inverting to ENG output. You get this= What are you doing, man?
Has NOTHING to do with the original translation.
Ok so yes I could use it for Translitteration. but ou li’l google boy really does this only accompanied by the TransLATION.
Certain letters will not appear unless you translate the right word which contains it.
Also I’ve noticed some complications with individual characters.. but that might be due to my input system, have to check that out.
@MrsRansom Thank you very much for the straightforward suggestion. I’ve installed it. I’ll let you know.
Do you use it?

Cheers to all, as usual, lovely people..
