In general, very uplifting. I was able to revive my relationship with my oldest son. I borrowed the money to fly to Sweden and visit him after a serious medical issue, and discovered the severe stroke he suffered three years ago has left him with no memory of why he turned his back on his family. We had a wonderful reunion.
I have enjoyed playing with my two youngest, toddler grandsons, and helping my two oldest, adult grandsons try to establish themselves in the business world. I have been lucky enough to help my son support his wife, mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law for the entire year. I have seen my beloved Mother-In-Law survive the death of her husband of 50+ years, and actually thrive in the aftermath.
We have held our own against the terrible depression this country is currently experiencing, and I am feeling very happy.
