I looked it up on Charity Navigator and found nothing but did a Yahoo search on ”“Bob Haverstick,” the founder of the organization and the hits I got were basically similar to the press page. Lots of articles from local papers about elderly people in their community who got their wish fulfilled, and it pretty much is a Make Wish Foundation for seniors, and all the articles said something like “wish… wish fulfilled… would not have been possible without the efforts of Bob Haverstick… from Never Too Late…”
So just from that it seems legit, but that’s never the whole story with a charity. They seem to be doing what they say they do but I wasn’t able to find any financial info, the kind that tells you how much of what they raise goes to actually doing the work and how much goes to administrative costs, fundraising, overhead, salaries, etc. but otherwise it looks legit, as far as I can tell. If it’s a small private charity they don’t have to submit their financials to anyone. So, they seem legit enough, so far. That’s all I could find.
