Is Anne Lamott right that, "You can safely assume that you’ve created God in your own image when it turns out that God hates all the same people you do."?
I found this a particularly pithy quote and wanted to share it. I also wondered, as Christmas approaches, if theists find it off-putting or will tend to see it as true. I’d appreciate everyone’s candid thoughts on Ms. Lamott’s aphorism.
