I have Blue Cross. The Smart 5000 plan.
It’s going up, up, up…but, as a self employed person it’s what I have to do.
5000 deductable, then 70/30 with modest dental benefits.
It is costing me $350 a month now. An increase of about $250 in the last 3 years, but, I am over 50 now…it is what it is.
I think your income is too high to qualify for medical/medicaid at this time, but, maybe check into it.
I’m in the gray zone, too much cash in the bank and assets to qualify, but..the day may come where I sigh everything over to my daughter and go for assistance.
You just have to shop around to find the best plan for you, and, constantly be willing to revise and find new ones that might be m ore suitable.
Pain in the ass it is.
