I generally wear shorts every day, even though it gets below freezing during the winter. The problem is everyone thinks it is weird (I can’t see why), so i have decided that I want to try pants. I absolutely HATE wearing jeans because they are uncomfortable to me, so the only option is sweatpants. Would it be considered weird if I wore sweatpants to school/ in public? Is it strange at all?

P.S. I am heterosexual (straight) if that weighs into your answer at all. It might change some peoples opinions, you never know
