Sorry, exercise is only one part of the picture. The only way to loose weight is if the calories you consume are less than the calories you burn.
Because our bodies are pretty darned efficient, it takes a heck of a lot of walking and/or other exercise to make up for excess calories consumed. Let’s take an example:
Say you walk for 45 minutes at a pretty darned good clip. You are only going to burn around 300 calories. Now, compare that to the nutritional information on that bag of whatever snack food is in your hand…..
Pretty startling isn’t it!
For me, I’ll gladly forgo that bag of “cheezy poofs” to not have to abuse myself for an extra hour at the gym!
