Can you recommend a good, dramatic movie with Michael Clarke Duncan?

I am watching The Green Mile and it occurred to me that I have never seen him in another dramatic role. Every movie I have seen him in, he plays the Big Black Tough Guy which, admittedly, he does quite well. However, he gave such an amazing performance in The Green Mile that I would like to see more of his dramatic roles.

Can the collective suggest any for me?

Sadly, he hasn’t done many roles like that. The Green Mile was perfect for him.

He had a fun role in Armageddon…

He was cool in “the whole nine yards”

Sometimes an actor and a role are perfect for each other, and with the help of the right director, script and supporting performances, out comes a wonderful performance. Such was this case, in my opinion. But except for truly gifted and versatile actors like De Niro, Pacino, Tom Wilkinson, Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush, that kind of lightning rarely strikes twice.

@Austinlad I can’t help but notice one thing in common for all the people in your list of “truly gifted” actors.

I like “Scorpion King” in which he appears. Dwayne Johnson and Kelly Hu are the main stars. He is in “Sin City”. It has several episodes.
