“Great Question” (3points)

I noticed that there are sites like: technorati.com, bloglovin’ etc. But where do people go to share their blogs, where they can get opinions/criticism and/or followers (If they like your blog).

Thanks!

The only method I know of is visiting and commenting on other blogs and meeting fellow bloggers that way. Great question, I hope you get some great answers because I’d like to know too!

It could depend on what you’re looking for in the way of opinions/criticism and/or subject matter. I had to have an account at www.blogster.com once for a class. While there are many subgroups, that site tends toward political “discussions” (I use the term lightly). Many members’ pages are available without you having to have an account first—take a look around over there and see what you think! Good luck.

I often “share” my blog by posting something there that’s relevant to people I know and then giving them a direct link. On Fluther I’ve done that several times, notably when a picture or video might be of use in an answer.

Also, some blog platforms, like Tumblr and Posterous, have built-in social sharing tools that make it easy for other site users to stumble upon your site based on its content, its rising popularity, and other criteria.

A good strategy is to use multiple platforms and cross link them to each other. It also doesn’t hurt to let your friends know about the link of your blog :)

I for one use brimple along with other services for my blogs. It’s pretty intuitive and easy to use. After cross linking with a few other forums and blogs, an entry of mine came out first in the search engine rankings to my surpirse.
