In a standard tri-bot design, running each motor in opposite directions with equal power will have which effect?

a. The robot will make a 90 deg point turn.
b. The robot will move forward in a circular path with a certain finite radius.
c. The robot will move backwards in a circular path with a certain finite radius.
d. The robot will rotate about its central axis.

I thought that the robot wouldn’t move at all. Could someone please explain this concept to me?

Can you elaborate on what a tri-bot design is? I think I know the answer, but if what I’m picturing in my head is completely off-base, I might be wrong.

Esp. tell us what happens if only one motor is running.

d. I’m pretty sure. Imagine locking arms with a friend, one of you tries to walk forward, the other backwards. You just spin together in place.

Looks like there are 3 motors, each of which would individually try to rotate the robot. Can you really control each motor individually?
