pretty random, but does anybody happen to know what a good normal blood pressure level might be for a 240 pound, 6 ’ 5” man?

Between 110/65 and 140/90 is usually considered normal. A low blood pressure is only really a problem if it is causing symptoms but a high blood pressure increases your risk for a number of diseases.

120/80 is now actually considered top end of normal. above that is “elevated”.

as far as i know it does not go by your weight. I would google it and I’m sure you could find a chart showing what is now acceptable.

My Dr. told me that we should be at or below 120/80.

I’m working on it.
