
How much lutein is in an 8-ounce glass of fresh carrot juice?
Fresh carrot juice is like health food on sterroids. Carrot juice is more readily digested than fresh carrots, and it would require eating quite a few fresh carrots to get the nutrients and anti-oxidants contained in a single glass of the juice.
Carrot juice provides a great dose of nutrients and a full range of carotenoids including beta carotene and lutein. But I can’t seem to locate a reference that tells how much you get from a given amount. Does anyone know?
