All shower caddies such as this; one are assembled put putting together the rods, then putting these little black or white clippy things over certain grooved parts, and then you slide the shelves over the clippy things and then the shelves stay in place. What are the black clippy things called?

And do you happen to know where I could purchase some extras?

I just put one of these together (what a pain in the ass), but mine came with these clear rubber thingies (unhelpfully called ‘wedges’) that were sort of like very thick washers that the shelves sat on. If yours is really from SimpleHuman, they are great about sending out replacement parts for their products, even if you have no idea what the part name is.

@augustlan Actually, no – that’s just the first shower caddy on the BB&B website that I saw.

Extra whats? Shower caddies? I’ve seen them at BB&B, in the stores. I’ve also seen them at Kohl’s and Target. You can’t find one at Bed, Bath and Beyond?

@lillycoyote She means extra parts, the ones that the shelves attach to (or sit on).

You’re looking for the clips for metroshelving. Find a place that sells metro shelves (like container store). They practically give them away.
I’ve got bags of them. I wish I could send you some.

I had a similar question a few weeks ago, and @worriedguy pointed me in the direction of Lowe’s. They had a large selection of hardware for assemble-it-yourself furniture, and I successfully found the pieces I needed.

@BarnacleBill I was just at Home Depot last night, and they didn’t have any that I saw. They also don’t have faucet screens alone, only faucet washers with screens… But it did remind me to ask the question.

@breedmitch Wow. That was awesome. You get Best Answer.
