Hahaha, strange thing is, I know exactly what you are talking about. I absolutely love that smell. I used to ride horses and I’d always look forward to that smell.

I used to ride horses and never minded the smell of horse poop, either… I also love the way the horses smell. Both to me are good smells that take me back to my horse riding days. I’d come home and my mom would squeal that I stank and needed to go shower, but I’d take a deep whiff of my horse-smelling self and I just loved it.

There is nothing better than the smell of the horse stables after a nice spring rain :)

Horse manure is mostly processed grass. It is not really an unpleasant smell. I love the associations I have with that smell.

I love the smell of horses :-) I don’t really find their poop to be offensive at all. (And I have cleaned my fair share!)

To answer the question in the details, I am enamored of the smell of skunk. It always reminds me of evening car rides back to the farm during childhood and a feeling of being warm and taken care of by my parents.

Ahh yes, when the wife farts it reminds me of the first time we had anal. Glorious bouquet, nice memory :¬)

When my car needs new tires, I hang out in the shop, and just breathe in the smell of rubber.
My Dad worked in a tire shop, and it is like getting to visit with him.

I don’t even know what you would call this scent, except a cacophony of humanity. Whenever I’ve gone to a concert , I’ve noticed a mixture of smells, that always end up smelling almost exactly the same at every concert I’ve ever been too. It’s kind of good and bad and subtle and overwhelming all at the same time. But it always says “Wow, I had a great time at a concert tonight!” smell to it. It’s a combination of men’s and women’s cologne, male and female brands of deoderant, clove cigarettes, nachos, beer (occasional pot smoke) gum, spilled coca cola and PHEROMONES! I’ve never smelled that same combo of smells anywhere else, and although it’s not always the nicest smell, it always makes me happy when I do smell it. It’s the smell of rock and roll!!!

I also love the smell of the county fair, which includes the PO’s example of horse poop, mixed with rotting garbage, nachos (God, why are nachos always involved with my fantatsies?) damp earth, cotton candy and cinnamon rolls, greasy onion rings, patchouli oil, piggy barns, chow mein noodles, chlorine from the hot tub displays, fudge, barbecue, more rotting garbage and poop from llamas, chickens and cows, spilled beer, vomit (from the midway rides) stale popcorn, dust and tar from the parking lot, diesel fuel from the shuttle buses, baby powder from all the little kids, corn dogs, cloves (once again, only this time from wanna be 80’s kids) more rotting garbage, warm ranch dip, more barbecue and funnel cakes. This is what the county fair is all about!

I also like the smell of slightly over ripe dogs and cats that are in need of a bath. God love them!

@janbb I Also Like the Skunk smell. It reminds me of playing in the woods as a kid and building a tree house above what turned out to be a multi-species animal burrow of sorts. All within a few hundred foot patch of lightly wooded area with a swamp close by. There were a family of skunks, racoons, rabbits, and what I think were some type of woodchuck but I’m not really sure. Whenever it would rain you could smell the musk from all the animals up in the tree house and we kind of got used to it, but my mother always wondered why out clothes smelled like skunk.

Count me in, I love that farm-y smell. I know it technically stinks, but it does bring back a lot of good memories, so I enjoy it. I also enjoy the smell of skunk, as mentioned by others. I think it smells like weed, which I also happen to like the smell of. I don’t even smoke pot, but it smells divine.
