Why do religious people pray to God "through (or in) Jesus' name" if they believe that Jesus is God?
As an example:
“Dear God,
Please end all the war and suffering in the world and bring peace to our lives. We ask this in Jesus’ name.
Amen”
If Jesus is God, why is it separated in prayer?
