@crisw He does both. We think he likes that they get a little crunchy on the outside. He seems to like them after they’ve been out of the pack for a few hours or a day later. He licks to bite off tiny bits, then clasps one in his paws and licks it. So cute. The other cats like to bat them around and carry them in their mouths.
It’s not like we just one day went & bought him peeps BTW. I should’ve set that up in my last post but it was late when I typed that last night.
Pre having my son, we used to set up our dining room for every holiday. You know, bring out pretty colored glass dishes, have a nice center piece…then for each holiday/season we’d put out a colorful candy in dishes. As peeps became popular again, they began introducing the varieties for each holiday (hearts/shamrocks/snowmen/gingerbread men/etc) so we’d buy packs and set a peep on each plate.
Low and behold, one day we noticed bite marks on the peeps…and our cats are not the type to go on tables/counters-etc. We instantly wondered which cat it was. Then, the next holiday rolled around without us knowing. We’d brought in the groceries with the peeps in the bag yet, and here was our Tigger trying to get them out of the grocery bag himself. Mystery solved.
Now we just buy some for Tig-Tig to have all to himself.
