Can you stretch non-leather shoes?
I bought a pair of great slip on shoes, striped vans, i'm really happy with them. one of them however is a little tight and i'm wondering if there is some secret for stretching it a little.

If there are any old-fashioned shoemakers left where you live, they might be able to. My father sold shoes as a young man and he always said that if the shoes aren't comfortable when you walk out of the store, fuggagedaboudit.
If they are cotton you can get em wet and stuff em. Good luck.
I don’t think there is much that you can do. I think that getting the cotton wet could shrink them, but I’m not sure.
IN the future, have your feet measured and deal with a proper shoe salesman. No two feet are exactly alike, and you should buy shoes accordingly. Many (good) shops will tailor-make them for you – sometimes a half size makes all the difference.
