I know someone down the street from me that really doesn’t like me. It’s okay. I don’t need to be friends with everyone I meet. She didn’t like when I walked her son home, after he bit another boy at a party we were having for the Scout Pack. I didn’t embarrass the boy, in fact the other boy only whispered it to me and played with the boy, without another word. When I rang the door and asked to speak to her, alone I told her what happened. I just wanted to let her know what happened, because it involved another child, not mine and that parent may call her. That was it. No, *&()^& can’t come over anymore. None of that, just a head’s up.
A week later, my husband asked what I said to her because another mom told him she was called me a b***ch for even saying anything to her. Fact is, the child is old enough to know not to bite. These are boys 7–10yrs of age, not toddlers.
I’m not losing sleep over this matter.
@Taciturnu – Are you talking about just anyone, or do you think your friends don’t like you. Just for clarification.
