From the websites cited above: You will be placed on Academic Probation whenever your cumulative grade point average is 10 or more quality points below a 2.0 average.
While on Academic Probation, you may attend the University with the following stipulation: earn a 2.0 semester GPA.
Once on Academic Probation, you will remain on probation until the cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher is achieved.
When you are on Academic Probation and earn a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better, you will be placed in academic good standing.
Academic Success Probation Plan (ASPP)
All first time freshmen on Academic Probation will be required to participate in an Academic Success Probation Program (ASPP) Program with an ASC Academic Counselor.
You will be placed on Academic Suspension if you fail to earn a 2.0 or better semester GPA while on Academic Probation.
For the first Academic Suspension, the period of suspension is one regular semester; for subsequent suspensions, it is one calendar year.
You may appeal an Academic Suspension by contacting the Dean of your College.
