Jesus Christ, what do you do for a living and where can I apply?
Are you sure the “Dragunov” you are looking at is a real Dragunov and not a Romanian PSL? The two are not the same and a real Russian Dragunov will cost you a few grand, whereas the PSL (which is still a fun gun) can be had for between 600 and 700 dollars.
I know a shit ton about guns, and I’ve never even heard of that Mauser variant, but it looks sexy and .300 Magnum is one mean bitch of a round, so this decision is difficult. If you really are made of money and you really are deciding between a real Dragunov and an SP66, I’d personally say go for the Dragunov, but it really depends on what use you have in mind. The Dragunov is not exceptionally accurate as it was designed to fill a designated marksman role. As a collector piece, it would be a great investment, though. The Mauser looks to be dead-nuts accurate, though, if you are interested in long-range precision shooting or big game hunting.
