@SpatzieLover “almond butter and nutella on one spoon.” HNNNNNGGG. Yes, I’m making moose noises because that’s how badly I want some almond butter with nutella right now. I could also go for some almond butter with honey.
-This isn’t a spoonful, but you know those bags of grated cheese for toppings? Sometimes when I’m in a snacking mood, I just grab handfuls of that stuff.
-Maple syrup with just a dab of butter. It’s been known to happen.
-Guacamole by the spoonful. I realized that I had forgotten to buy chips and ate the guacamole as-is.
-Hummus with EVOO – I ran out of veggies for dipping and I was all like, “screw this. I’m finishing this tub-o-hummus.”
-The white wine/garlic/butter sauce from the bottom of the sauteed shellfish. Who needs bread.
-When we have leftover casseroles or cake, and I’m too lazy to fix myself a plate, I just swipe a spoonful straight from the pan and mush it back into shape so nobody can tell I’ve been nibbling off it. Same with the communal ice cream.
I also use chipotle mayonaise a lot in sandwiches and veggie wraps and stuff. I’m starting to realize I don’t care about the sandwich so much, but I have powerful cravings for chipotle mayo. I’ve thought about it, but mayonaise by the spoonful? I don’t know if I’m ready to cross that line.
Whew. It felt great to get that off my chest.
