Is it the gooseberry? I have a bag of these in my cabinet that I got from Earth Fare for $10….they are tart and sweet and supposedly have a huge amount of vitamin C that has a high absorption rate in the body. Deeeelicious!

Seaberry? There are lots of other much-touted berries, like goji and goumi berries, but most of them are red or purple. This is the only yellow one I know of.

The only yellow berry I know of is gooseberry. When I was overseas, they made some kind of dessert with them that was kind of like a gooseberry crisp, but the berries were in some kind of custard. It was a cross between a crisp and a trifle. Anyway, it was soooo good!!

Let us know what it turns out to be, if you find out!

I bought this at Earth Fare in the HBC section. It tasted good. They had plain old sea buckthorn extract there too. Just go to any health food store and you’re bound to find it…but you’ll have trouble finding the raw berries.
