I absolutely love this song. I first heard it on “Ally Mcbeal” and it was sung by Vonda Shepard. I next heard it on the soundtrack for “Smokey Joe’s Cafe” and that’s when I learned it was by Leiber and Stoller. Anyway, who sang “Neighborhood” originally? I’d like to listen to the original recording (if there is one), but the only versions I could find are by those I’ve already mentioned.
