Of course I am! I’m cheering for Boston, though.

It’s less about the teams for me than it is the players. Tim Thomas has worked his ass off to make it this far, and I really want to see him win a Cup. I was cheering for Tampa for the same reason – Dwayne Roloson has done amazing things for the Lightning and at 41, he doesn’t have much time left, if any. I really wanted to see Tampa make the final. There are quite a few players on the team that I love – Lecavalier, St. Louis, Roloson, Stamkos… (Aside: I got to see Stamkos score his first natural hat trick in Florida a couple of years ago!)
Anyway, there are just too many Vancouver players I don’t like. I’ll be happy to see the Cup back in Canada if the Canucks can pull it off, but my heart is with Boston and that handsome, handsome Andrew Ference. Oh, and who doesn’t love a feisty, hardworking Irishman?
