I know homework questions aren’t supposed to be asked here…but I’m not really asking you to do my homework.
I need to find information on how Blaise Pascal solved the Problem of Points and helped the study of probability (and Pierre de Fermat).
Most of the internet sources I’m finding don’t seem too reliable because some tell me there were actually two separate problems he worked on for probability (one was the problem of points, and another was on dice). Most sources also don’t actually give me the methods both used for solving it, and I need this information for a Geometry project.
What are some reliable sites or sources that would give me this information?
