Steppenwolf the Novel. What do you think about it?

I just finished reading Steppenwolf and was wondering what other flutherites thought of this novel. And also, would you consider yourself to be a steppenwolf?

I remember liking it. I don’t remember anything about the story though.

I read it maybe 30 years ago, so I have forgotten just about all of it. I just read a synopsis, and from that I would not bother to read it again.

Oh, yes I remember it now! It must be 40 years since I have read it but found that it could put me to sleep in about half a chapter. I also learned that I want to read a book about reality or fantasy but don’t like them mixed.
