I don’t understand the question. I think of heartbreak as when someone has done something that is incredibly dissapointing to me, or who I have lost. The way you word the last string sever, means to me finally over you are finally over the person. I know I must be misunderstanding. I am going to try to answer.
I have had times when I finally realize I have lost someone and my body feels it everywhere. It is like a physical pain, hard to breath, like losing a limb. It did happen to me once in a quick moment, with a realization, and then dragged out for months.
There is actually a term, I don’t remember it, for heart break and that it does actually kill people. They use it to account for a significant amount of spouses dying within a year of each other.
