Hi all,

I need a tool with which i can design Web Application page layouts easily. Can anyone give some suggestions?

I found this one:
http://www.microsoft.com/expression/products/sketchflow_overview.aspx
but i’m not sure if this is indeed the most powerful out there. The story is: our client does not want to work with documentation, our client wants to work with “layouts”. We now need a tool in which we can easily create these layouts and send them to the client so that they can later approve and/or change (using the same tool) them.

Thanks,
Gabriel

Huh? Why not just produce photoshop templates? Proof in PDF.

Ask ETPro… he knows more than I.

Allright, I’ve found something. It’s a fast and good mock-up generator for web applications with good capabilities. it also features a Library and it lets you design your own controls:

however, please beware: ITS NOT FREE!

@RealEyesRealizeRealLies : Thanks for your answer. I have considered using Photoshop or Visio, however, i needed something simple that my clients can also use without calling me every ½ hour :)

pencil & paper

photoshop
omnigraffle
balsamiq mockups

You can save/export out easily viewable images and/or pdfs from these for your clients to view.

I use paper and pencil. Then scan and email. If a client can’t figure that out I don’t want to work for them.
