[NSFW!! NSFW!!] I have heard time again that if a female has un-protective sex the male ejaculates into her, she can become pregnant even if she douches. That got me to thinking, sperm is microscopic that means one inch is a very great distance for sperm to cover. If a woman makes it home and takes a shower, douches, or rinses herself out with a turkey baster, etc what would keep her from being able to intercept it? I heard an estimate is that sperm can swim up to 8 inches in an hour. Again, they are microscopic, so on a human scale would that be equal to a speed greater than mach 8? I can’t see how something that small can travel that far that quick.
