Neizvestnaya, in defense of golf courses; they can also add many benefits. Not only can they add benefits and enjoyment to the people who use them, but to many other people too. In an indirect and direct way. Me for instance, I live on a golf course in Florida. I actually live in a golf course community with 480 holes of golf and it will be 600 holes when it is completed.
We drive everywhere in our golf carts. Nearly all 80,000 of us. There are over 40,000 golf carts here in this one development. I would think that as far environmentally friendly that is amazing.
Nearly every golf course has a large area that is set aside as a wildlife preserve. It is off-limits to us. The wildlife is indescribable. Nature at it’s finest. Especially considering the oaks. Live oaks, water oaks…it is breathtaking.
I could go on to the economic benefits that this community gets from golf courses, but I will just through that little bit out there for you to at least think about. This place is paradise. Especially for a golfer. ;)
