Do all the various buttons on the blender really do anything?

Or is it just on vs off? Is there really a difference between blending and pureeing and mixing and chopping and crushing, or is it just the amount of time and whether or not you pulse it?

What drink are you attempting to make right now? Perhaps that would assist us in formulating an effective answer.

@Imadethisupwithnoforethought Probably not. It was a margarita, but it’s all gone now :D.

It seems to me it is a speed control for the blades. Each successive level just a few rpm’s higher. I don’t think the ingredients in the mix know the difference. At any rate it’s always a good plan to hold the lid tight,at any speed.
