And if you could inject humor in your answers, that will be great! Thanks. : )

How you would find humor in being poor is beyond me.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer… is it a joke??!!!

I have lived on both sides of the fence. The rich “wonder why they don’t get off their ass and work” and the poor wonder how in the world you break through that barrier. I get really annoyed at my friends who don’t understand the plight of the working poor. Most of them got their jobs because they knew someone. I knew one single mom who lived off of her parents and bitched about welfare moms. I couldn’t help but tell her that if she had been born to different parents, she would be a welfare mom too.

Don’t know, I’ve never been rich..but we’re all richer than the homeless or those in other countries. I wonder many many things.

@Cruiser and @Londongirl Jeez, do we all have to be feeling downtrodden every second? Not all poor people are miserable!

@mazingerz88 . . . Poor People Spokesman here. We are not miserable all the time but we are stressed the fuck out. This stress is constant and unrelenting. When money is tight there is no room for anything unexpected in the budget. Couple this fact with the fact that life is chock full of unexpected shit and you have a formula for instant misery following you around like that little fucking Zoloft blob. The idea of “Happy Poor People” is for people who think Good Times, The Waltons, and Roseanne were fucking documentaries.

To answer your question on a personal level, I don’t wonder anything about rich people. Rich just means you have enough money to pay your bills and buy other shit besides the bare necessities.

I don’t think the rich give it much consideration either, you know, unless the market takes a shit and there is a good chance they might become poor as well.

For the record, I don’t begrudge anyone with a great deal of money for having a great deal of money. Wealth in this country can be a fleeting thing and I’m sure the rich have their own stress cloud that hovers over them.
