Yes, my kids are a little too young to be worrying about this just yet, however my sister left yesterday. Many of you already know that I raised my sisters, and I’m incessantly overprotective, so I’m pretty devastated. She isn’t terribly far away, about an hour and a half, but she is still such a baby in my eyes. I keep fretting over what she is going to eat, and how she is going to do her laundry, and whether or not she’ll be safe.
This is pretty normal, right? How did you feel when your kids (or someone in a comparable relationship) moved away?
