Winco is like a supermarket the size of costco, with the prices and clientele of Walmart.
They have really good prices, but a lot of the stuff there is prepackaged convenience foods, and the produce section isn’t fantastic, but it’s acceptable. Huge freezer section, full service deli, bakery, a sizable bulk foods section so you can buy pounds of rice/beans/pasta or candy and even make your own peanut butter and honey. They sell a lot of lesser brand label products compared to regular supermarkets, but do have the brand names when it counts (like condiments). Even though they market towards a lower-income type clientele they have some interesting things you wouldn’t expect as well, like organic sweet potato chips, or Tofu pudding. I reccomend the umpqua ice cream, it’s really good.
In the front there is also a take out Pizza and sandwich place which’ll sell pretty huge portions for a few bucks. Only thing is that they are really salty.
