Got any restaurant recommendations in Solihull, England?

I’m there for a week: working at the NEC all day. I’ll probably go into Birmingham for dinner a couple times, but will mainly stay around the Touchwood area for easy access to hotel and gym.

Any restaurant recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I haven’t been to this part of England, but the Mogo Grill and Juice African barbecue restaurant sounds interesting.

The Giraffe Bar and Grill sounds like a typical American-style restaurant.

The Townhouse Restaurant and Bar sounds like a very pleasant, upscale restaurant.

Zizzi Ristorante sounds like a yummy Italian restaurant.

Oasis Tandoori I can’t seem to find their actual website, but I’ve read a number of reviews and it sounds like one of the best Indian restaurants.

The Emberpub sounds like delicious and inexpensive British gastropub food.

The Punchbowl sounds like a modern pub, with locally grown seasonal dishes.

The Beeches Bar and Grill sounds like it has something for everyone, including Sunday Roasts.

The Metro Bar and Grill sounds like a modern, upscale European restaurant.

The Farm Season menus served in an actual circa 1700’s renovated dairy barn.

That ought to keep you busy for awhile : )
