Just curious! I work for a caterer at night and I definitely get tired of drunk guests grabbing me or spilling drinks all over!

I once worked at a plastics company over the summer. I stood in one spot, in 97 degree heat and watched 6 rolls of plastic rap go by every 3.5 sec for 12 hours a day.

Then the next summer I did maintenance there. cleaning the extruders and climbing up into the rafters where it was 107 and higher.

I still look back at that with greater fondness than I do working for the managers and owners of the last company I worked for.

I managed a small motel years ago when my daughter was just a baby. I hated being woke up at all hours of the night by drunks who couldn’t see the huge flashing neon sign saying no vacancies. They woke me up more often than the baby did. I disconnected the buzzer, but they would pound on the door anyway which woke my daughter every time.

I grew up on a farm. Cleaning out cow manure from the barn in summer heat was no fun task.

I was also a cook at a local restaurant in high school. During the summer, the temperature would easily reach triple digits.

I worked for some fascists at B Restaurant in Oakland. Never support this place, it sucks and the owners are pricks, not to mention the food and decor is half-assed and generic. I think they were delusional and thought we were at a place like Nobu in NYC. I walked out mid-shift.

I worked one summer striping parking lots at DFW airport in Texas. One of the hottest summers on record to boot. It was the most miserable jobs I ever had to deal with. The boss drank all day in the bar, then drove my crew back to our office at the end of the day. Craziness.
